Since 2009, Soul Journey has been collaborating with artists to bring people together through the power of music. Even during the darkest times, the Jewish people are a nation of hope. The wisdom of our heritage reminds us of the need to locate sparks of light to bring strength and comfort to our communities and help build a world worthy of our children. With decades of creating meaningful musical and cultural experiences, we are confident that together we can offer a soulful event that will leave a lasting impact on all who participate while raising much-needed funds for Israel and your community.

Bringing Healing and Unity to Communities in Need

In the wake of the October 7, 2023 attack that has swept darkness and divisiveness through our world, budgets have been widely slashed. Foundations, nonprofits and federations are struggling to spread their light. Community leaders across the nation and around the world are struggling to keep their social services alive. They are finding themselves forced to choose between budgetary priorities and much-needed celebratory events amongst their communities. Caught between difficult choices, they may feel forced to eliminate the artistic and the musical components in favor of line items that appear to be more “practical.” At a time like this, however, it is precisely a Soul Journey To Hope experience that people need to facilitate healing and empowerment on both a personal and a communal level.

Our Mission: Soul Journey to Hope

The mission of Soul Journey To Hope is to enable communities around the nation to host musical, educational, cultural and spiritual experiences that they might not otherwise be able to experience. Our hope is that these events are used as Fund Raisers and Soul Raisers, both so desperately needed. The work of Soul Journey To Hope is to promote and preserve the traditions and values of different cultural groups and to encourage understanding and respect for different cultural heritages. At the same time, we hope to unite and strengthen Jewish communities nationwide, together with their various interfaith neighbors.

A Journey that Reaches Every Corner

Soul Journey To Hope can journey to communities large and small, local and widespread. We hope to fill the theaters of major cities and the modest houses of worship in smaller suburban areas. We hope to perform under the stars and inside living rooms. Envisioned as an intimate encounter with hands-on music and learning, Soul Journey To Hope seeks to empower and uplift through the universal power of music and mutually respectful dialogue acknowledging diverse viewpoints and avoiding accusatory language.

A Journey For The Soul

Soul Journey To Hope is envisioned as a traveling program that will swoop into communities in need of delivering powerhouse community-wide events. At the same time, we will host holistic, educational workshops in music, cultural learning and ritual observance. Working together with individual community leaders and organizers, we hope to tailor each visit to individual communities’ needs. Each day or weekend experience will have an indigenous flavor, both reflecting and enhancing each unique setting. The hope is that each of these events will generate funds for local charities and organizations. Music and spirit are a balm that soothes many misfortunes, so the needs of our envisioned target communities are vast. We aim to visit communities that are struggling financially, struggling to maintain Jewish identity, and struggling to find peace within the larger world. We aim to be there for communities at all stages of life, at all stages of the journey of the soul.
